Kent’s laid-back jazz fusion singer, songwriter ANGELANE is taking the world on her journey and the first stop, In The City.
In The City was mostly inspired by Angelane’s working life in the City of London. This hugely relatable track takes us on a colourful path with the big band sound of modern swing jazz, to a cool love story.
Love can be found in the city, even when the dark shadows of a heavy workload tries to erase social life. ANGELANE’s voice has been described as ‘soothing, with pure tones that float toward the listener with persuasive ethereal ease.’ In The City unveils another side of her vocal ability, her vocal strength and flexibility are impressive and translates this song beautifully.
